Our goal is to empower each child to achieve the highest possible standards of intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. 

ToddlerTime Early Childhood Center was founded during the turn of the 21st century by two dedicated educators-Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart.  With several years of experience in the field of elementary education, and the parents of three small children, the couple developed a quality early childhood program that would provide children with the skills necessary to become successful in reading, math and science.  Emphasis on each child's social and emotional skills is also incorporated through daily activities.

All young children are equipped with a strong desire to learn and explore the world around them.  Based on the doctrines from great theorists such as Piaget and Bloom's Taxonomy, research has proven that not all children develop and acquire skills at the same time.  At ToddlerTime, every child is viewed as an individual and children are exposed to a variety of learning activities that are appropriate and support their individual learning style.  Our program is a balanced of both child initiated and teacher directed learning.  A combination of both doctrines serves to create a well-rounded early childhood program.

 

The staff at ToddlerTime meet and exceed all state licensing requirements.  Our professional child care team includes State Certified Teachers in elementary education and Child Development. In addition, our team of providers undergo yearly extentive training in professionalcourses-keeping them abrisk of the latest research in child development.

Our staff includes an experienced and dedicated group of teachers and administrators.  Each teacher strives to create a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere which motivates children and encourages participation.  Our warm and friendly staff develops good repoire with each child and family.
